Our talented faculty is divided into two teams, and as the sessions are split in half, each group gets to work with both.
Each team consists of a director, a musical director, and a choreographer. Here's a little bit of information on each
member of our talented faculty and staff.

Staff
Dru Cox -- Camp Coordinator (Camp Mom)
Dru graduated from the University of Wyoming and in 1980, got her Masters in Being A Great Mom from the University of Her Daughter, Lauren. She is in charge of all the administrative, behind-the-scenes work at Performing Arts Camp, including organizing the volunteer parents, categorizing applications, keeping the cafeteria, pop cart, and first-aid kit stocked, and generally keeping the faculty on the right track. During camp, when anybody needs a question answered, Dru is the person to find. You can track her down easily, because she is often in five places at once.

Ellen Martin -- Registrar
Ellen Martin has been "keeping the books" since this camp started. Able to balance her full-time job as Sewickley Academy's switchboard operator with her ability to balance out the camp's checkbook and keep the tuition checks in line, Ellen is a valuable member of the staff, especially since the faculty is terrified of the responsibility that comes along with accepting checks. Also, if you ever call the camp phone line, you talk to her first. So be nice to her, because she has the power to "accidentally" route your call to the imaginary phone in the janitor's closet.
|
Lauren Cox -- Camp Daughter
Lauren attended this camp from second grade all the way through high school
and was the recipiant of the very first Lifetime Achievement Award.
She received a double major in Theater and English from Vanderbilt University.
She is in charge of the hilarious Picture Pages, hung on the walls outside her office,
and they are the reason some people come to camp at all! She also likes to lie a lot.
During show time, she can be found backstage as Stage Manager, keeping the children quiet,
finding missing props, and helping children with mics and costume changes. When she's not working on this website,
she's living in Japan teaching English to high school students, where no one gets her hilarious jokes.
